WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (July 24, 2025) — The Quantum Insider, in partnership with the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and Quantum Coast Capital, this week announced Quantum Beach 2025, an officially recognized event of the International Year of Quantum (IYQ2025).
The one-day summit will take place Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion in West Palm Beach. The event is designed to make quantum technology more approachable for a wide audience, offering a day of education, strategy and executive networking.
First launched in 2021, Quantum Beach has grown into a global gathering point for showcasing quantum innovation and catalyzing public engagement with the technology’s future. Unlike traditional science conferences, Quantum Beach aims to demystify quantum computing and related technologies, helping business leaders, educators and policymakers understand how quantum will impact industries, economies and daily life.
“Quantum technology represents one of the most important frontiers of innovation in our lifetime,” said Matt Cimaglia, founder and managing partner of Quantum Coast Capital. “Its impact will extend across industries, markets, and national priorities. With Quantum Beach, we’re creating a forum for decision-makers to develop a practical understanding of where this technology is headed—and how Florida can play a leading role in its global trajectory.”
As part of IYQ2025, a global initiative led by UNESCO to raise awareness around quantum science and technology.
With deep ties to aerospace, defense and high-performance computing, the state is well-positioned to become a hub in the U.S. quantum economy. Quantum Beach 2025 will explore how Florida — and Palm Beach County in particular — can translate those strengths into leadership in quantum science and business.
“Palm Beach County continues to attract companies and talent shaping the future of innovation,” said Kelly Smallridge, president and CEO of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. “Hosting this official IYQ2025 event reinforces our region’s leadership in advanced technologies and economic diversification.”
The event will feature panel discussions, keynote interviews and networking sessions with experts from the quantum industry, capital markets, public sector and academia. Topics will range from real-world use cases to investment trends, workforce development and public-private partnerships.
“Quantum Beach reflects our mission to make quantum more accessible to decision-makers across sectors,” said Evan Kubes, President of The Quantum Insider. “It’s about connecting people and ideas to drive meaningful progress in a field that will define the next era of innovation.”
The event runs from 9 AM to 6 PM on October 8, 2025.
