The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) hosted its Quarterly Real Estate Roundtable at the Palm Beach Park of Commerce, convening commercial and industrial real estate leaders to discuss the latest development activity across the Palm Beaches. Sponsored by Butters Construction & Development, PCCP and Woodmont Properties, Cushman & Wakefield provided a tour of the facility as well as a networking lunch for attendees.

The quarterly roundtable continues to serve as a key platform for sharing new office space opportunities, available industrial facilities, market intelligence and the latest economic development activity in Palm Beach County.

Led by Tim Dougher of the Business Development Board, the program is consistently hosted in dynamic locations ideal for relocating or expanding companies and focuses on timely activity and growth trends shaping the region.

Spotlight: Palm Beach Park of Commerce

303,364-square-foot industrial building available in Palm Beach Park of Commerce

Hosted at the Palm Beach Park of Commerce โ€” one of the largest fully master-planned industrial parks in the southeastern United States โ€” Christopher Thomson of Cushman & Wakefield provided opening remarks on regional market activity.

The park is home to major employers including Amazon, Florida Power & Light, Walgreens, Niagara Bottling, McLane Company, CSX, RENCO, Vetio Animal Health and others.

Palm Beach Park of Commerce continues to attract large users across key sectors such as:

  • Logistics and distribution

  • Advanced manufacturing

  • Food and beverage production

  • Life sciences and pharmaceutical operations

  • Corporate headquarters and regional offices

Its scale, infrastructure and strategic location make it a premier destination for companies seeking commercial and industrial space in Palm Beach County, with more than 1.6 million square feet of future park development underway.

Sherry Ambrose of Florida Power & Light Company provided an overview of power infrastructure considerations tied to large-scale commercial and industrial projects. As Palm Beach County continues to attract advanced users across multiple industries, coordination around energy capacity, infrastructure planning and long-term reliability remains a key factor in supporting responsible growth.

With the rise of data centers and other high-capacity users across Florida, Ambrose shared that her team is well equipped to vet projects and guide business leaders through infrastructure considerations and long-term planning needs.

Palm Beach Countyโ€™s proactive approach to infrastructure readiness continues to position the region competitively for future investment.

Jonathan Brown, Meri Weymer and Carlos Serrano from Palm Beach Countyโ€™s Housing and Economic Development Division shared an Opportunity Zones Update, outlining current activity and the benefits available to businesses and investors operating within designated areas.

Highlights included:

  • Tax advantages tied to long-term investment

  • Redevelopment opportunities within targeted zones

  • Alignment with county economic priorities

Opportunity Zones remain an important tool for encouraging private investment and redevelopment throughout Palm Beach County.

New Development Update

Inside Palm Beach Countyโ€™s Latest Growth

Ken Tuma of Urban Design Studio provided a new development update, sharing insight into active projects across the county. Key themes included continued expansion in healthcare facilities, along with new residential communities and school development supporting ongoing population growth.

These projects reflect sustained demand across Palm Beach Countyโ€™s commercial, residential and institutional sectors.

BDB Economic Development Activity

Tim Dougher of the Business Development Board shared updates on business recruitment, retention and expansion activity throughout Palm Beach County, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between the real estate community and economic development partners.

In the past four months, the Business Development Board has facilitated 14 corporate relocations and expansions, resulting in 700 high-wage jobs and $100 million in capital investment. Those companies represent 643,533 square feet of newly occupied commercial and industrial space in Palm Beach County.

At the conclusion of the program, attendees explored available opportunities within the Palm Beach Park of Commerce through visual displays and a guided tours.

One of the featured properties โ€” the host site โ€” included a 303,364-square-foot industrial building available for lease, offering 40-foot clear ceiling height, 26 trailer parking spaces and an R-19 roof system. The building is located at 15430 Corporate Road North, Jupiter, Florida.
