April 23, 2024 – Palm Beach County, Florida – Top newly relocated executives met with 25 education leaders representing a spectrum of private, public, and parochial K-12 institutions on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Among the attendees were headmasters and Palm Beach County School District leaders, who graciously welcomed 15 representatives from renowned companies synonymous with the “Wall Street South” movement. The Business Development Board, Palm Beach County’s official economic development entity, hosted this annual meeting for the second consecutive year, fostering collaboration within the esteemed assembly known as “One Palm Beach”.
Outcomes:
- 11 private meetings
- 25 education leaders
- 17 private schools and the PBC School District
- 2 companies requested the group travel to their HQ, one local and one out-of-state
- 10 private tours have been facilitated since last week
- Executives have connected several additional colleagues for assistance
Last year, members of the “One Palm Beach” collective ventured to New York City to connect with executives considering a relocation to Palm Beach County, Florida. This year, they adopted a localized strategy, targeting executives who have recently made the move to the area. The result? An influx of younger families assuming key positions, with customized tours organized for both private and public schools throughout the county. Additionally, the education group engaged with leaders representing companies in the midst of relocating their entire workforce.
