Meal delivery service Ideal Nutrition will add more than 100 jobs at its new 43,000-square-foot distribution center in Palm Beach County.
Founded in 2016, the company has a corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach and storefront locations in Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton and Wellington. It also operates a more than 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on Haverhill Road in West Palm Beach.
The firm’s distribution center at 6017 Southern Blvd. will support 150 jobs in advanced logistics, operations, and technology and management. It plans to make a $2 million capital investment to improve the facility.
Ideal Nutrition makes healthy, freshly prepared meals for pickup or delivery to locations across South Florida, Vero Beach and Sebastian, Florida. According to its website, it uses locally sourced ingredients and offers a menu of more than 40 meal choices for subscribers, including paleo, keto, vegetarian and vegan options.
The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County facilitated permitting for the distribution center in partnership with the county’s Planning, Zoning and Building Department, and workforce assistance through CareerSource Palm Beach County.
