Five Companies Join Global Ventures at the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University

Boca Raton, FL โ€“ June 4, 2025 โ€“ The Research Park at Florida Atlantic Universityยฎ is proud to announce the addition of five dynamic and high-potential companies to its Global Ventures program, furthering its mission to accelerate the growth of international and second-stage technology-based companies in South Florida.

The newly welcomed Global Ventures members are:

  4. FocusSafe โ€“ A U.S./Argentinian-founded dual-purpose EdTech software platform designed to help schools reclaim control of the classroom and improve campus safetyโ€”by turning the very devices that cause disruption into tools for focus and protection. www.focussafe.com

Totaligent โ€“ A U.S-founded AI-powered digital marketing platform that unifies multi-channel campaigns with real-time insights, data precision, and fraud protectionโ€”empowering businesses to engage real consumers through Email, SMS, social media, PPC, and more in one automated system. https://www.totaligent.com/

Global Ventures provides these companies with access to Florida Atlantic University research faculty and student talent, flexible office space, and strategic guidance to help them scale operations in the United States.

With these additions, Global Ventures continues to grow as a magnet for cutting-edge enterprises from across the U.S. and internationally, creating high-wage jobs and impactful solutions in industries such as healthcare, AI, cybersecurity, ocean technology, and more.

In 2024, the Research Park at Florida Atlantic and its Global Ventures program significantly bolstered South Florida’s innovation landscape. Collectively, companies within the Research Park supported 978 jobs, creating 160.5 net new positions and offering 34 internships to Florida Atlantic students. These ventures generated $657 million in revenue and contributed to an estimated regional economic output of $708 million. Alumni of the Research Park include ModMed, recently valued at $5.3 billion.
