The spectacular Derby of Dreams: Racing for the Arts and Academics is set to take place on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at the stunning Polo Club at the USPA National Polo Center Pavillion, located at 3667 120th Avenue South in Wellington, Florida.
This premier event will honor J. Michael Prince, President & CEO of USPA Global, the company that manages the global, multi-billion-dollar U.S. Polo Assn. brand, and Vice Chair of the Business Development Board (BDB) of Palm Beach County, as well as Kimberly Bluhm, philanthropist and art collector, for their outstanding contributions to arts and education.
Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring a three-course gourmet dinner and signature mint juleps, paying homage to the traditions of the Kentucky Derby. Experience the thrill of watching the Kentucky Derby live on the picturesque grounds of the National Polo Center. A highlight of the evening will be the Bowtie and Hat Competition, inviting attendees to show off their finest Derby attire.
The evening’s entertainment will include captivating performances by Grammy and Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young, Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Charlie Porter, and Broadway veteran, X Factor finalist, and celebrity vocal coach Tara Simon. Guests will also experience exceptional live and silent auctions.
Presented by the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, Derby of Dreams supports the award-winning Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Funds raised provide students with vital resources such as college and testing prep, private lessons, classroom enhancements, instruments, financial aid, and scholarships.
