Lynn University’s College of Business and Management employees attended the Quantum Beach event, the leading U.S. conference on quantum computing, held at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The College of Business and Management employees in attendance included: Dean R.T. Good, Associate Professor Mateo Peroni, Associate Professor Ellen Ramsey, Associate Professor Andrew Burnstine, Associate Professor George Antoniou, Assistant Professor R.G. Ghattas, Associate Professor Sherry Andre and Associate Professor Victor Lian.
Together, they joined government, academia and industry leaders to explore how quantum science reshapes business, technology and policy. Key discussions included:
- Commercial potential of applied quantum systems in cybersecurity, logistics and drug discovery
- U.S. quantum policy and regulatory strategy
- Investment and capital models driving the quantum economy
- Workforce development to prepare students for quantum-era careers
The event featured leaders such as West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James, Florida Commerce Secretary Alex Kelly, Business Development Board member Kelly Smallridge, and 15 state universities and colleges, advancing the vision of Palm Beach County as the ย new “quantum coast.”
