Business Development Board Facilitates Three Corporate Projects

December 19, 2024 — Palm Beach County, FL  – The Business Development Board (BDB) of Palm Beach County, the region’s public/private economic development organization, is pleased to announce the retention, expansion, and relocation of three companies to the area. These strategic developments will generate 135 new and retained jobs, occupy more than 20,000 square feet of new commercial space, and contribute $4.1 million in capital investment to Palm Beach County.

Celebree School
Celebree School is launching a new early childhood education facility in West Palm Beach in partnership with Sympatico at 5800 S Dixie Highway. The 8,800-square-foot facility will create 30 new jobs. The BDB assisted Celebree by connecting it with local investors, educational leaders, and providing essential research services.

BAC Fabrication and BAC Consulting
Relocating from Texas, BAC Fabrication and BAC Consulting will temporarily operate at 1711 Latham Road in West Palm Beach, as they search for a larger, permanent location. The move will create 20 new jobs. The BDB supported this relocation through site selection, introductions to local developers and contractors, and connections with CareerSource Palm Beach County for workforce hiring. BAC Consulting is a certified minority-owned business through the Palm Beach County Office of Equal Business Opportunity.

Bee Access
Bee Access, a manufacturer and distributor of scaffolding equipment, is expanding its operations at 2145 Indian Rd in West Palm Beach. This initiative will create 20 new jobs and retain 65 existing positions while occupying a new 12,500 square-foot-building bringing its total operations to 33,000 square feet, and will make a $4.1 million capital investment. The BDB provided critical assistance, including expedited permitting and workforce development support through CareerSource Palm Beach County.

“Our heritage is rooted in West Palm Beach, where we’ve built a strong foundation for our business. However, we’ve chosen to stay and expand in West Palm Beach due to its exceptional resources, vendors, and transportation infrastructure. This location enables us to efficiently serve our customers throughout South Florida while supporting our nationwide shipping and logistics efforts as well. We also benefit from the area’s favorable tax environment and access to a skilled workforce within a supportive community. Our partnership with the BDB has been crucial in addressing growth challenges, and we’re excited to continue growing and contributing to the local economy,” stated Chris Glueckert, Vice President of Operations at Bee Access.

Driving Economic Growth in Palm Beach County

As the official economic development organization for Palm Beach County, the BDB is dedicated to attracting new businesses and supporting the growth of existing enterprises. In 2025, the BDB aims to conduct outreach visits to 200 local companies, prioritizing high-wage job sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, technology, aerospace, healthcare, and life sciences.

“It is important that the BDB remain focused on growing high-paying jobs through our targeted industries from Boca Raton to Tequesta and out to the Glades” said Kelly Smallridge, President & CEO of the Business Development Board. “Palm Beach County may be known as ‘Wall Street South,’ but we are also a leader in aviation, healthcare/life sciences and corporate headquarters.”
