October 20, 2025 – Palm Beach County, FL – The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) rolled out two innovative platforms to supercharge its Talent Optimization Strategy—helping local employers attract, retain, and develop top-tier talent.
Connecting Businesses with Skilled Workforce Solutions
- BDB Jobs Board: In collaboration with Getro, the BDB introduced a dynamic countywide job platform highlighting live opportunities from over 350 of Palm Beach County’s premier employers. The platform empowers young professionals, trailing spouses, and the local workforce to easily discover careers across thriving sectors like corporate headquarters, life sciences, technology, aviation, and healthcare.
- New Intern Portal: CareerSource Palm Beach County, in collaboration with the BDB, unveiled an innovative internship portal linking students from local and out-of-area colleges to hands-on opportunities across the region. Every local college and university is an active partner, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience.

Impact on Local Economy and Workforce Development
- New Resources: Published the 2025 Talent and Education magazine, the 2025 Apartment Relocation Guide, a countywide education website featuring an interactive “Commute Calculator” for distance to local schools, and the BDB’s annual Profile magazine featuring content appealing to young professionals.
- Campaigns and National Exposure: Produced a robust suite of testimonial videos, devoted public relations efforts to land national articles, alongside high-profile ad campaigns—such as billboards displayed in Times Square during New Years and a geo-targeting March Madness social media campaign. These efforts targeted demographics between ages 25 – 35 years old and college-age students.
- Digital Infrastructure: Optimized BDB.org as the county’s recruitment hub with improved SEO and a future-forward user experience to reach additional talent with supported resources.
- Strategic Partnerships: Engaged top employers, educational institutions, chambers, and private schools through the BDB’s education programs: Academic Leaders Council; Public/Private School Task Force; and the Countywide Claim Your Future Showcase event. These programs directly enhance talent recruitment and retainment.
- New Initiatives: Launched a new Young Emerging Leaders Task Force, expanded the BDB Summer Intern Series and launched a series of high school “Career Talks.”

Looking Ahead to 2026
Building on the progress of the past year, the BDB will continue expanding efforts to support employers and attract top talent. In 2026, the focus will include deeper collaboration with education and industry partners, new tools for recruitment and retention, and initiatives to ensure local talent has the skills needed to drive an innovation-based economy. Several impactful programs are in development—designed to enhance workforce readiness, increase talent visibility, and further establish Palm Beach County as a leader in workforce development.
