Palm Beach County is a thriving center of innovation, bolstered by prestigious research institutions like the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute and the Max Planck Florida Institute. - Cleveland Clinic is expanding in West Palm Beach, adding 150 new beds, outpatient centers and specialized care in a 110,000-square-foot facility in CityPlace.
- NYU Langone is set to open a $75 million ambulatory care center in 2026, bringing top-tier health care services to the region.
- Jupiter Medical Center is unveiling advanced surgical facilities and a neighborhood hospital to better serve 40,000 local residents.
- HCA Florida Healthcare is enhancing Palms West Hospital with a new patient tower.
- Baptist Health continues to expand and improve its facilities, focusing on enhanced emergency care throughout the county.
- Alan B. Miller Medical Center has plans that include building a new 150-bed hospital in a seven-story building totaling 365,000 square feet, a four-story medical office building totaling 80,000 square feet, and a helistop located in Palm Beach Gardens.
Tampa General Hospital and the Health Care District of Palm Beach County reached an agreement for Tampa General to provide administrative leadership, operational management and strategic support for Lakeside Medical Center, the Health Care District’s public teaching hospital in Belle Glade.

The Palm Beaches are also home to pioneering biotech companies, such as ADMA Biologics, Aqualung Therapeutics and Expansion Therapeutics, which are pushing the boundaries of medical research.
