September 8, 2026 – West Palm Beach, FL — Quantum Beach 2026, Florida’s statewide quantum conference, will return to the Palm Beach County Convention Center on Thursday, October 22, bringing Florida businesses and education leaders together with the people developing and deploying quantum technology.
The one-day conference is designed to make quantum technology understandable and practical for attendees across industries. No previous quantum background is required. Doors open at 9 a.m., with programming from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a reception from 4 to 5 p.m.
The 2026 program will examine where quantum technology is moving from research into real-world applications. Sessions will address business adoption, commercialization, education, national defense, cybersecurity, quantum applications and error correction.
Among the scheduled discussions is The Compatibility Test, which will bring three Palm Beach County businesses together with D-Wave, IonQ and NVIDIA to explore quantum applications. The agenda also includes an enterprise-focused conversation with ServiceNow, a discussion on moving quantum from the classroom to commercialization featuring Palm Beach State College, Florida Atlantic University and Vanderbilt University, and sessions focused on national defense and emerging cybersecurity threats.
Florida has significant stakes in the development of the technology. With a $1.9 trillion economy — the fourth largest in the nation — 21 major military installations and three combatant commands, the state is positioned at the intersection of quantum’s potential applications in national defense, cybersecurity and commercial industry.
The program will open with a State of the Florida Quantum Ecosystem featuring Florida Secretary of Commerce J. Alex Kelly, Kelly Smallridge of the Business Development Board of the Palm Beaches and Matt Cimaglia of Quantum Coast Capital. Later sessions include representatives from D-Wave, Quantinuum, ServiceNow, Riverlane, the National Science Foundation, the FBI, CISA/Department of Homeland Security and more.
Quantum Beach is Florida’s flagship quantum gathering, bringing researchers, founders, students and industry stakeholders together to help move quantum technology out of the laboratory and into real-world use.
