Career Fair to Bring Over 40 Employers to PBSC’s Lake Worth Campus

Employers continue to face tough challenges in finding enough qualified workers to fill open jobs. Consequently, over 40 employers will recruit at the Spring 2025 Career Fair sponsored by Palm Beach State College and CareerSource Palm Beach County on Wednesday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the gymnasium on PBSC’s Lake Worth campus, 4200 Congress Ave.

The career fair is free and open to the public. Private and public sector employers from various industries will look to fill both full- and part-time positions and internships. Job seekers are encouraged to RSVP and are reminded to bring resumes.

The hiring organizations include Coca Cola, DSS Inc., Enterprise Mobility, Florida Blue, Humana, iThink Financial Credit Union, Marriott – West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, Port of Palm Beach, Riviera Beach Police Department, School District of Palm Beach County – Operations, The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology, US Sugar and Wellington Regional Medical Center.

CareerSource Palm Beach County

CareerSource offers virtual and in-person job fairs, classes and facilities for job searches, grants for job skills training for those who qualify, career development and consulting – at no cost! During the past five program years, CareerSource Palm Beach County assisted nearly 40,000 residents to find employment ranging from entry-level to executive suite, with salaries from these jobs creating $700 million in annual wages. CareerSource also awarded $11.9 million in grants to area businesses and employees for job training and educational assistance during that time. More information is at www.careersourcepbc.com.

CareerSource also provides services to help rebuild and sustain businesses in today’s challenging marketplace. CareerSource absorbs the cost of most of these services including recruitment, assessments, and referrals of qualified job candidates; space and staff assistance for screening/interviewing candidates; and grants for training employees.
