BDB Embarks on International Business Development Mission to France, Germany, and the UK

Governor Ron DeSantis will lead the delegation to the 55th International Paris Air Show—one of the world’s premier events for aerospace innovation—alongside the BDB and in partnership with SelectFlorida, the state’s international commerce organization with FloridaCommerce. The BDB has ensured Palm Beach County’s robust aviation and aerospace sector will be well represented at the event, showcasing the county’s cutting-edge capabilities in aviation, aerospace, and engineering.

Following the Paris Air Show, the BDB will continue its mission in Germany and the United Kingdom. The itinerary includes meetings with companies exploring relocation opportunities, roundtable discussions with business leaders, and strategic sessions to promote the Palm Beaches as a destination for international investment.

With Palm Beach County recently ranked among the “Top Five Fastest-Growing Wealth Markets in the World” by Henley & Partners, the BDB is committed to keeping the region in the international spotlight. Palm Beach County already boasts international companies with a large presence here such as ZimVie, Carrier Corporation’s Center for Global Intelligence, HotelPlanner, Hoerbiger, Max Planck, USPA Global and NewDay USA to name a few. With access to three ports and three international airports, the county is well positioned to attract more international corporations.

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) serves as the county’s official public/private economic development organization. Established in 1982, the BDB is dedicated to attracting and retaining industries, fostering business investments, creating high-quality jobs, and supporting workforce development through corporate relocations, expansions, and international trade initiatives. Over the past five years, the BDB has supported more than 140 companies, contributing to the creation or retention of over 13,110 direct jobs with average salaries exceeding $80,000. These efforts have driven more than $1.12 billion in capital investments into Palm Beach County.
