Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce eleven J.D. candidates have been selected to join the firm’s 2025 Summer Associate Program. The summer associates will be based across Florida with access to attorneys and staff from the firm’s 13 offices statewide. Each summer, Gunster opens its doors to a cohort of rising 3Ls, offering them a front-row seat to sophisticated, live-client matters that span across practice areas and office locations. Selected from the very top of their law-school classes, these summer associates immerse themselves in the pace and rigor of a business-focused firm, all while paired with a dedicated mentor who provides individualized guidance and candid career insight. The program equips each participant with the practical skills and professional relationships essential to launching a thriving legal career. |
 Carson Blank attends Florida State University College of Law, where he serves as a Staff Editor for both the FSU Law Review and FSU Business Review. Carson has experience as a Legislative Fellow with the Florida House of Representatives, where he researched constitutional and statutory issues, and as a law clerk at a firm that services construction and surety industries. He holds a B.S. in Business Management from Florida State University. Carson will be located in the Jacksonville office this summer. |
 Christian Chase is a J.D. candidate at Vanderbilt University Law School, where he is involved with the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law and the Moot Court Board. He has clerked for a full-service law firm based in Birmingham, Alabama and the Alabama Office of the Attorney General. Christian also worked as a Player Development Intern for the Chicago White Sox Double-A team, handling analytics and operations. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida. Christian will spend the summer working in our West Palm Beach office. |
 Maggie Crews is pursuing her J.D. at Emory University School of Law, where she is the Executive Managing Editor of the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review. She has legal experience in various areas including health care and personal injury and previously interned at the State Attorney in Tallahassee. Maggie graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Criminology. Maggie will be located in the West Palm Beach office this summer. |
 Iara Dircie is a J.D. candidate at the University of Miami School of Law, where she serves as a Junior Staff Editor for the University of Miami Law Review. She is also active in the International Moot Court Program and Student Bar Association. Iara previously interned for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, focusing on international law issues, and has professional experience in sales management at an Agriculture company. She is fluent in Spanish and holds both a Master of International Business and dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida. Iara will be working in the Miami office this summer. |
 Hannah Hough attends Stetson University College of Law. She serves as an Articles & Symposia Editor for the Stetson Law Review. She has worked as a Law Clerk at two different property tax firms as well as a personal injury firm. Hannah holds a B.S. in Public Policy from Olivet Nazarene University. Hannah will be working in the Tampa office this summer. |
 Allison Kueser is a J.D. candidate at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she is a member of the Florida Law Review. She has interned at a nationally recognized full-service law firm, focusing on healthcare, medical malpractice, and land use, and at Southern Legal Counsel, working on matters related to the decriminalization of poverty issues. Allison holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida. Allison will be working in the Fort Lauderdale office this summer. |
 Kyle D. Martin attends the University of Virginia School of Law, where he serves on the Managing Board of the Virginia Law and Business Review. He has interned for the Honorable Renatha S. Francis of the Supreme Court of Florida and at a personal injury firm, working on civil litigation matters. Kyle graduated summa cum laude from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in History. This summer, Kyle will be in the West Palm Beach office. |
 Thomas Pudas is a J.D./LL.M. in Taxation candidate at the University of Miami School of Law. He is a Junior Staff Editor for the University of Miami Law Review. He has clerked at an estate and planning firm, focusing on tax and estate matters, and prior worked as a Tax Associate at KPMG. Thomas is also an All-Source Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and holds a Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina. Thomas will be located in the West Palm Beach office this summer. |
 Nina M. Robbins is a J.D. candidate at Florida State University College of Law. She is active in Moot Court and the FSU Law Review. Previously, she was a summer associate at a Tallahassee-based firm, working on administrative and regulatory law matters, and has experience as a teaching assistant and volunteer. Nina holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Criminology from Florida State University. This summer, Nina will work in the Tampa office. |
 Kyle R. Rochefort is a J.D. candidate at the University of Miami School of Law, where he is a Junior Staff Editor for the International & Comparative Law Review. He has interned for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and previously worked in business development and marketing at Gunster. Kyle holds a M.S. in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida. Kyle will be located in the Miami office this summer. |
 Andrew J. Valenti is a J.D. candidate at Stetson University College of Law, serving as Editor in Chief of the Stetson Law Review. Previously, he clerked for a criminal defense and civil appeals firm in Tampa and interned for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Andrew has also worked as a legal trainee for the Hillsborough County Public Defender and holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Miami.
